Departure: 23/9 Park at Pham Ngu Lao Street, we go over 9 stops in District 1 and District 3. It brings you to the Zoo, the History Museum, the War Remnants Museum. Otherwise, iconic buildings such as Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace, City Hall, Opera House, and Saigon Central Post Office. You will explore the city’s “foreigner areas”, such as Dong Khoi, Nguyen Hue, the “Backpackers District”. We observe the City’s panorama from the Skydeck at Bitexco Financial Tower as well as shops at Ben Thanh Market.

You spend your day discovering the history, traditions, and culture of the energetic Ho Chi Minh City. You walk through hidden winding alleys well as magnificent pagodas, bustling marketplaces, gourmet restaurants, and architectural buildings.

In the morning:

First of all, begin your trip at Bus Station – 23/9 Park, Pham Ngu Lao Street, that transports you to your first destination – Ben Thanh Market. Here, you experience the daily life of many city dwellers through the vendor-lined market walkways. You could see the colorful arrangements of handcrafted art, textiles, smell the aroma of fresh cooked snacks, and listen to the chanting voices of street vendors.

Next, we enjoy drink and the panorama view of the city at Saigon Skydeck observatory Bitexco Financial Tower.

The third stop, we co to Bach Dang Pier located near the Sai Gon River, Bach Dang Wharf which consists of wharf and park has become an attracting destination. It’s a popular launching point for boat trips along the Saigon River of the locals and tourists.

In the afternoon:

After that, Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street is flanked by some beautiful French colonial architectural wonders. For instance, the People’s Committee of City, Opera House, Rex Hotel and luxury shopping malls. In front of the People’s Committee Hall, you find a statue of Uncle Ho Chi Minh and a fountain show by night.

Afterwards, we step back in time to the war period to witness the Reunification Palace. Nearby outstanding examples of French colonial architecture at Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office.

Then, the zoo founded more than 100 years ago by French botanist JB Louis Pierre in 1865. Ho Chi Minh City Zoo and Botanical Gardens are listed as one of the oldest zoos in the world. There are currently more than 550 animals exhibited; more than 1,830 trees and 260 plant species with some dating back over 100 years.

In addition to creatures and plants, there are also the Saigon National Museum and the World War I monument next to the zoo and botanical gardens. Moreover, the museum covers the entire Vietnamese history, war weapons from the French colonial period. And thousands of important documents within its walls.

The last stop, make your way to the War Remnants Museum. You would appreciate the wide collection of images dedicated to deceased American and Vietnamese by photographers and journalists in the French – American conflicts. Finally, we are back to 23/9 Park.
